Our Services:

BridgeMark Claims Services provides proactive Case Management, Vocational and Return-to-Work Programs, Ergonomic Assessments, HR and Legal Support, and Safety Resources.

Case Management

We hold claim managers, attending health care providers, and other medical providers accountable in the process. Claim managers have hundreds of claims at any given time and are not always able to review and act on claims when scheduled. We pay attention to every one of your claims and make sure the claims manager is also paying attention in moving the claim towards closure. Effective, tenacious communication is the key to getting answers and results. We communicate with medical providers-often in person-to resolve conflicting medical opinions, request objective medical findings, and address the injured worker's ability to work.

Vocational and Return-to-Work Programs

BridgeMark Claims Services has a full-time credentialed Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant (VRC) to complete light duty job descriptions, job analyses, and communicate with private sector vocational counselors. Per Washington Administrative Code (WAC) only a credentialed VRC can write job analyses. Our VRC will meet with medical providers to review job descriptions and job analyses and write valid job offer letters. Job offer letters are written in the workers primary and secondary languages when applicable.

Stay-at-Work and Preferred Worker Programs

Our vocational experts will prepare required documents and complete applications for you to receive a reimbursement for wages, tools/equipment, and training through Department of Labor & Industries Financial Incentive Programs. There have been several changes in qualifications in the Preferred Worker Program. We'll help you to understand these changes and make sure you receive the reimbursements you are entitled to receive through this program as an employer.

Ergonomic Assessments

Our certified ergonomics assessment specialist will complete worksite evaluations to recommend tools, equipment, and work behavior modification to keep employees working safely and productively.

HR Support

Assistance is provided with the Reasonable Accommodation Program, OSHA logs, employer policies and employee handbook.

Legal Support

We will represent your interests at the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals (BIIA) when an injured worker appeals a decision made by Department of Labor & Industries. We are involved in decisions made by BIIA from mediation through hearing. We review department orders and protest unfair decisions including claim allowance, time loss, medical treatment, permanent partial disability (PPD) awards, employer liability, and wage orders.

Safety Resources

As an added service to further protect our clients, we have partnered with safety professionals in the industry. Services include worksite safety consultations and representation during a Labor & Industries inspection. It is smart money practice to have a knowledgeable Safety Consultant at hand during (and prior to) an inspection by Department of Safety and Health (DOSH).
